Reaching the Gulf of Poets and Cinque Terre by car has never been easier or more convenient

Portovenere has limited parking spaces, most of which must be paid for and can fill up quickly during busy times. The historic center also has a restricted driving zone (ZTL) which limits vehicle access.

Grand Hotel Portovenere has an on-site garage that is free of charge for guests who book directly on its official website, by telephone or email.

Our convenient, stress-free and strategic parking is right next to the harbor connecting Portovenere with the sea villages of Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets.

How to reach our garage

Upon arriving at the panoramic viewpoint above Portovenere, take the first exit at the roundabout and follow the main road that takes you to the center. The garage is located after 1,5 km (0,62 miles) from the roundabout on the right side – under a stone gallery that is located directly after the supermarket.

You will also see an occupancy indicator light at the entrance of the garage. In the case that there is a red light indicating that the garage is full, please disregard this as our guests have special reserved parking. Our staff will be pleased to meet you and help to take your luggage to the Front Office for check in.
